It has been very fun but it has also made for some very long days. When traveling to Washington DC you come to find that there is some great public transportation, but you will still end up walking a lot to see everything. AJ held up really well to all this transportation. He even managed to find a friend or two on the way. Yesterday AJ met this kid named Eric from Chicago, Illinois. They had a lot of fun playing with each other:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/johnpedroza.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/AJFriendWeb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1011\" title=\"AJFriendWeb\" src=\"http:\/\/johnpedroza.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/AJFriendWeb-300x278.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"278\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nEven so the walking did eventually catch up to AJ:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/johnpedroza.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/AJdancefloorwe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1012\" title=\"AJdancefloorwe\" src=\"http:\/\/johnpedroza.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/AJdancefloorwe-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAt those points we tried to find a bus, because carrying 30 pounds for a long distance is not that fun:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/johnpedroza.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/AJridingtourbusweb.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1013\" title=\"AJridingtourbusweb\" src=\"http:\/\/johnpedroza.com\/blog1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/AJridingtourbusweb-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAJ didn&#8217;t get many naps on this trip, but luckily he wasn&#8217;t too fussy. He did however have his &#8220;collapse&#8221; point. For AJ this was at about 9PM.
